Mr. Valentine founded GTS in 1995 after a ten-year independent sales agent position with Roberts Express, the largest ground expediter in the country and now a division of FedEx. Prior to joining Roberts, he was corporate accounts manager for Burlington Air Freight (now BAX Global), responsible for the General Motors account in North America. He began his career as a sales representative for CF AirFreight in Detroit, Michigan. A native of Alliance, Ohio, Mr. Valentine holds a bachelor’s degree in selling and sales management from Bowling Green State University.
Mr. Valentine is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Northeast Ohio Trade & Economic Consortium (NEOTEC), and the Guild of American Transportation Specialists. Also active in several civic and community organizations, Mr. Valentine is a founder and chairman emeritus of a private non-profit school in Hudson, Ohio.
Paul Kithcart, President

Prior to joining GTS, Mr. Kithcart was with FedEx Global Logistics, where he served as Managing Director of Rite Routing, the centralized multi-mode transportation arm of the organization. He spent more than five years managing the ten-fold growth of the department and held the positions of Group Manager, Manager of Implementations, Director of Logistics, and Director of Operations.
Mr. Kithcart has nearly 30 years of experience managing different areas within the supply chain. He began his career in carrier management with nine combined years in regional and national LTL management between Hall’s Motor Transit and Yellow Freight System. He then moved to a manufacturing environment as a manager of procurement and distribution for three years at Clestra Hauserman. After serving one year as Vice President of Operations at American Moving and Relocation, Mr. Kithcart joined Roadway Logistics.
Mr. Kithcart is a graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is certified in transportation and logistics by the American Society of Transportation and Logistics. He is a member of the Council of Logistics Management and is pursuing certification in project management through the Project Management Institute.

Mr. Reitz came to GTS from Yellow Roadway
Corporation where he served as manager of general accounting. He was responsible for
financial reporting, establishing internal controls and all general accounting functions. Mr. Reitz has more than 27 years of experience in the transportation industry serving in
finance and accounting roles in companies such at Skyway Freight Systems, FedEx
Corporation, the former Roberts Express and the former Caliber System. In addition, he
owned his own financial consulting services company that served the construction,
petroleum distribution, and logistics industries.
Mr. Reitz earned a BS degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University. He is a certified public accountant.
Curt Gonya, Vice President of Sales

Mr. Gonya is vice president of sales at GTS. He is responsible for the company’s business development efforts and oversees the creation and implementation of marketing strategies.
Prior to joining GTS, Mr. Gonya spent 14 years in the LTL transportation industry both in operations and sales. During the final six years, he served in regional sales leadership roles.
Mr. Gonya holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Youngstown State University.
Brian Pollock, Director of Operations

Mr. Pollock is director of operations at GTS. He joined GTS in 2000 as a senior transportation specialist. He continued to take on additional responsibilities and was promoted to volume supervisor and manager of routing center services. In his current position, he is accountable for the management of all transportation modes while supervising the staffing levels within all operating work groups to ensure maximum customer service. In addition, he maintains relationships with the company’s carrier base and monitors their performance.
Mr. Pollock started his career in the freight transportation industry as an operations coordinator at FedEx Supply Chain Services.
A graduate of the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in history, Mr. Pollock served in the United States Marine Corps where he completed Officer Candidate School.
