Project Analyst (Implementation Department)

Job Summary:

Position is responsible for organizing and managing project development based on a scope determined by client; involves defining project requirements, organizing, and maintaining a project timeline and developing current and future process flows; and is responsible for communicating new client requirements and business rules to client and internal operations to ensure successful program implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documents requirements and process flows
  • Training and development of new client business rules with internal operations
  • Supports identification and implementation of process improvements, cost improvements, and additional business opportunities
  • On-site data collection and sales support of implementation process
  • Data analysis

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (general suite of products)
  • Understanding of transportation data and reporting
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Experience in managing domestic and international modes of transportation
  • Experience in carrier contracts and tariffs (accessorials)
  • Knowledge of freight bill processing (rating and auditing)
  • Knowledge of domestic and international regulatory bodies
  • Knowledge of integrated transportation networks
  • Experience in start-up and implementation environments
  • Experience in brokerage, forwarding, and/or carrier operations
  • Degree in business management, logistics or supply chain management and/or three to five-plus years third party logistics, supply chain management, or related experience
