Transportation Support Specialist (LTL Department)

Job Summary:

Provide support to GTS transportation specialists and company operations through effective customer service, data entry, and dispatch functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bills of lading and dispatch shipments to appropriate carriers
  • Enter carrier pro number
  • Research and resolve clients/carrier problems

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (general suite of products)
  • Knowledge of domestic and international modes of transportation
  • Knowledge of carrier contracts and tariffs (accessorials)
  • Knowledge of freight bill processing
  • One year experience or a related associate's degree
