Start Up & Implementation

Our implementation process is designed to minimize the impact to our clients and their vendors while increasing our client’s ability to realize savings on freight charges and soft cost savings, both of which impact the bottom line. The keys to achieving these goals include our dedicated team and our use of a comprehensive implementation process.  For most clients, the implementation process takes just hours to complete.

• Team Approach -Once the freight program is awarded to GTS, we assign a cross functional team comprised of stakeholders from each organization to participate in the implementation process.  Understanding our client’s business is key to effectively ensure their needs are met while allowing them to focus on their core competencies. 
• Establish Timeline - During the implementation meeting, deadlines for start up are assigned along with the action items.
• On SiteSupport -Our implementation team is dispatched to your site(s) to review documents, create a plan, and clearly outline who does what.  We have refined our implementation process to provide the most effective set-up while minimizing the time and effort of your staff.
• Vendor Compliance -Changing vendor behavior is another key element. In addition to sending a routing guide to a supplier, we will work to change business processes with vendors to ensure that they are set up on the program.
• Seamless -It is critical for the start up to be as seamless as possible, and this can only be accomplished with a team that is mutually committed to the success of the program.
• Periodic Review -Our implementation team will review progress versus planned milestones periodically to make sure everything is on track.
